A broad range of internal and external stakeholders will be engaged to support the development of the Strategy. This page will be updated as consultation activities are planned. This will include opportunities to provide your views online.
To date, the team have conducted a round of scoping consultations with local stakeholders, as well as hosting a visioning workshop on the 30th April 2025 which was attended by 60 local representatives from across Westmorland and Furness.
As part of this workshop, a series of thematic discussion groups were held – three covering core strategy themes (people, prosperity and place) and two covering cross cutting themes (green growth and inclusive growth). A summary of each discussion is set out via the links below.
